    hi guys.

i accidently made a folder "hidden" and now i can't see it anymore, although i can access it.

got into properties, right clock on the folder, ticked "hidden" and pressed APPLY.

now i can't see that folder. i tried

folder options->view->show hidden files and folders->apply or OK and nothing changes :(
and when i go again into folder options->view i can see the show hidden files is STILL unticked even though i just ticked it.

the reason i accidently made the folder hidden is because if i right clicked on it and then "properties" the computer tells me i had 8GB in it but when i was inside it i couldnt find all the 8GB but only 3GBs. i tried to "un-hide" the extra hidden 5GB and accidentally did the opposite.

so not i have hidden 5GBs AND a hidden folder in which i have the hidden 5GBs.

    what should i do?

    thanks.

    this is embarrassing.

Doesn't make sense. If you can access it you can see it. Try using the green "Up" icon after accessing it.

Of use Start > Search > locate the folder > rt click to access Properties > set back to unhidden.
