Resolved Can I install AVG free 2011 over version 9

I keep getting the AVG free 2011 notice on my desktop every day, I have version 9.0.862 now and am happy, but the notices are driving me nuts.

If I get to the point where I decide to use avg 2011 Do I need to/should I uninstall the version 9 I have now or just download and install AVG 2011 Free.

YES Done it on about 20 PC's and no problems. Did one by uninstalling 9 first then installed 2011 and see no difference.

 

Any way to keep 9 without the AVG 2011 FREE pop up coming up all the time?

 

You wanted to know about installing 2011 and now you don't want to install it? 9 will soon go away. Haven't had any problems with 2011 and it is just as easy to do as 9 was.
