I am trying out windows 7 on my spare computer but can't get the audio to work. I have tried downloading the original driver but it wouldn't play the audio with it. Can someone suggest what to do to make it work?

Asus do not offer drivers for Windows 7 for that motherboard - you could try those for Vista x32 or 64 depending on which OS you are running.

Remember you should install the chipset, etc drivers too.

I am running Windows 7 64bit on Asus P5N32 SLI SE with no problems. Microsoft Updates should download the driver. It did for me :). Try that, maybe it will work for you.

I could not get windows 7 to run the audio for this board. I finally just went back to windows xp. Really I did not like windows 7 and I am happy with xp. I am also trying out some Linux programs but not having much success with them either. (Just trying to learn something new fooling with Linux). Thanks for all the great help!
