I have 1 printer and various computers which are tied to a wireless network as well as 1 that is connected to the printer.

Is there a way, if the computer that is connected to the printer is in sleep, to allow the print command from a remote computer to wake the wired computer?

That doesn't seem to follow through for Windows 7. Any other suggestions?

WOL - Wake on Lan is the keyword you need to Google or look in Windows Help file..

cant seem to find this (maybe cause i have sleep and hibernate disabled, also im on XP)
but i am pretty sure that there is a built in WOL option in power management for LAN but never seen it for Wifi.

edit: (i thought it was more straight forward)
