    Hello everybody:

I was doing a search last night on my computer, i came to a website and i noticed a couple of pops ups, with .pdf extension, and windows firewall came out telling me that it had blocked a program from changing settings. After that a couldn't use neither IE or Mozilla, or malware program i have installed on my pc.
Now, i choose to reset the network settings because that was another error message i ve got, and after that i still couldn't open some programs and worst; i cant pass the windows log in, it starts loading my settings, but then it goes to "saving your settings" and goes back to the log in screen. I did try to go into Safe Mode but i got the same result: it doesn't let me log in.
    I would appreciate your help.

Also did a search on past postings but didn't find any similar problem.

    Thanks to all

    Ossie

Then you need to remove the cause of this problem which is more than likely a virus.

Download the free version from here and let it update before running it.

You have an infection that has changed the IE LAN settings and as well it has set a malicious file to load at HKLM/Software/Microsoft/WindowsNT/Current version/Winlogon in the registry.

You should post in the malware forum.
