still trying to get something floppy or cd ready so that i can get checking the ram, still havent had any nmi errors since that one on the 2nd or whenever. and i have got to figure out how change boot sequence, its simple go up to boot sequence, clickie on it. it highlights the sequence, floppy is #3 on list.clickie on it and it goes back to boot sequence. you exit and computer goes to windows.
any ideas,oh btw i didnt find floppy in disk management in admin. but put floppy in drive green light lights up so who knows.sometimes i think my computer hates me or is trying to drive me crazy.

The boot order should be fairly easy to change, I gave a link with some instructions earlier. Not sure what the problem is with formatting the floppy, may be your drive is faulty or it is the disc, try another disc, if not can you use another computer to make the diagnostics disc.

As the original problem has not repeated then it might just be due to a poor connection with your memory sticks. With the computer unplugged take out the memory and refit it.

Not being able to see for myself what is happening I am not sure what else to suggest.
