Okay, I have a number of users with Windows 7 on my school district network. Some of them are really getting tired of having to log back in when they have been away from the machine, or not doing anything, after about 5 minutes. I am getting tired of having to do this also. In XP you could uncheck a box marked on resume, password protect in dispaly properties on the screensaver tab. I cannot find that option with Windows 7. I REALLY want to find that option. I understand the need for system security, but this is a school and most teachers are very firm about who gets near their desks and when. Thanks in advance, Dennis

Go to the "Control Panel "
Click on "Appearance and Personalization "
Click on "Change Screen Saver "
Unclick "On resume, display logon screen "

    Google is you friend!

Thank you. It is appreciated. Google was not being very friendly on this. Too many returns equals too much information. Thanks, again, Dennis
