Have set up a win2k server and it keeps on reverting to mmddyy when rebooted instead of remaining set for ddmmyyyyy which is important as 2 programs running on it must have the date in that format.

Any ideas how to sort it?

When you go into Control Panel and change your settings, you're only changing it for that user. To change it in the registry for all users, try this link and read the Change the Short Date Format for All Users in the Registry section.

    Hope it helps!
