I have no knowledge of ever posting to this thread and have to clue about the subjectmatter. Please don't accuse me of doing something I had no part in.

Probably best dealt with by PM'ing admin but you may consider changing your WindowsBBS password, if you didn't attempt to post in the thread then your account may have been compromised.

That is a "system" generated message built into the software here and everywhere else that uses vBulletin software.

I just now logged out...Tried to view YOUR user profile and got the same message.

So please don't take it so personally:cool:

You would have to tell me what you were trying to do...

You are not being accused of anything. The system (software!) is just trying to explain to you why you may not have permission to do what you tried to do.

That is just the point, I never tried to do anything under that thread. I never saw it until today and was merely curious as to responses as I thought the subject interesting. What was posted was a false accusation.

Well...Without knowing which thread..its hard to comment. But as see if my post above..When I wasn't logged in, I was treated like a guest and guests can't access MANY areas of the site.

Adding to Steve's comments you would also receive this message if you inadvertently tried to reply to a thread in malware & virus removal unless you started it.

Seriously it's nothing personal. We all (ok some of us) get them from time to time. It won't go on your permanent record :D

As you can see, that thread was moved to the abuse-posts section of the site to which you do not have access.

    In which case the rule

    applies.

    No accusation, just an explanation.

Yeah be cool. Life is too short to be stressed :) The people on here do a great job advising and helping. Automated messages are there just to aid them to keep the forum flowing smoothly.
