I use Windows 7 64 bit Home Edition, WordPad.
I entered an article wishing to print out, however,
trying to print article on my Epson S21 printer, sheet
paper simply passes through without printing.
Is there a special method to adopt the printing of
    WordPad contents?

Can you print in Notepad? If no joy the problem is the printer.

Just tried printing from wordpad (Win 7 64 bit home premium) to my epsom printer and there were no problems. Does the problem exist with all applications? Maybe your printer driver is at fault.

Thank you for replies. Wordpad content does print ever so faint, letters not recogniseable.
Printing any other form is printed in printer is of good quality. This appears fault must be with Wordpad or has Wordpad a limit to size of entered data to store and print.
My problem is data took sometime to enter in Wordpad and if unable to copy to another form of save, then the labour of entering will have to be repeated.
Suggestions for a resonable data storage software, able to print, will certainly be most appreciated.

    Bobby,

If you don't have Microsoft Office I would suggest you download and install Open Office which is free and fully compatible with Microsoft. You could then copy and paste your work into the Open Office word processer and print from there.

    Cheers

    jackisback,
Yes thank you, have downloaded suggested software,
it does all that is required and contents of Wordpad
    has been transferred to OpenOffice.
Required to reinstall the Epson S21 driver, apparently
    driver had become corrupt.
My computer is famous in corrupting different drivers
    without my knowledge.
Again thank you for your help, appreciated.

I am now using software OpenOffice, it certaily offers many tools.
However, when typing figures and letters character in letter form.
At any time the characters are moved out of lign and no way, that is in my case, can the typed character be re-aligned as originally typed.
In some circumstances the software simply freezes and require a
a reboot to continue with task. Through years of experience, has
teached me to save work on a regular basis.
I would appreciate, if a method exists to enable me to realign the
page work rather than have a messy out of lign characters.

I've never had any time that the Open Office freezes my computer so I can't really comment on your circumstances other than to say that the software is in itself stable. Also you talk of characters being moved . Do you mean that you are moving them or something else is happening? Let me know so I can better understand the problem.

    Cheers

This thread has nothing to do with it's subject about WordPad, so you may want to start a new thread in the Other Software forum.

sorry Admin but the original question WAS about wordpad. Is it really necessary to interrupt the thread simply because it has advanced beyond the original question? If it were my question I would not be happy with this advice. I therefore terminate my involement with this thread.

There may be other users that would know a thing or two about OpenOffice, but they would never look in this thread...

    That's a mature reaction

    Thank you jackisback, sorry Admin.

When I type a line and press the Enter key the line(s) jump several spaces
to the right, and unable to use arrow keys to move back to original space.
This error happens without any warning.

    1. The black cat sat on the wall. (Enter)

    1. The black cat sat on the wall.
If item is important it requires me to type the whole passage etc, to make
    a presentable work.
    I hope this helps you.
