In Xp I do the following to the Registry to start a bat file at bootup.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Userinit,
    Example: C:\Windows\system32\userinit.exe,C:\Clean Cache.bat
It does not seem to work in Windows 7.

I am very sorry that I bothered you. I use the bat file to delete temp files at bootup. I added some files and checked them to see if they were deleted. The only problem was that they were not in a folder mentioned in the bat file. I went back and checked the bat file and found that files were deleted when put in the correct place. My bad. Thanks. I put the bat file where you say and it works also.
