    Hi.
I can't install the software which is on a Cd-rom
For my Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical mouse.

This is the error message that it gives:
Error1101.Error reading from file: C:\win98\temp\_is3063\1033.MST. verify
that the file exists and that you can access it.

    I`m using Win98 & have the mouse connected to a PS/2 port.
Otherwise I can use the mouse
    Thankyou.

Unless your CDrom is drive letter C:, then it appears your loading procedures are flawed. Look in the device manager, if your optical mouse is listed, remove it. Reboot. When Win finds your mouse, select have disk. Then make sure you go to your appropriate drive letter for your CDrom. Post back good or bad.

    Hi, aleekat.

Worked without a hitch after removing the mouse device from device manager.
sorry -but I couldn't reply sooner as I was having a problem.-couldn`t boot & start Windows.

    My cd-rom drive is H .
Probably it had something to do with the previous mouse installed.

    Thanks a lot !!
