Computer starts but wont load

    I have a A7N8X-E motherboard compter, not sure what it is it has a panel at the front, with temp and clock, when i turn it on it will start but the monitor wont come on. After 30 secs the fans slow down then the light at front flashes fast any ideas what i can do (they said it was work a day ago?) any help will be greatly appreciated Cheers :)

    Have you read through the motherboard manual for any pointers I'll look through it later myself and post back once I've caught some Zzz's

    ok cheers i dont have manual. didnt come with 1 when i got it.

    Check & replace the motherboard battery.

    Check that the CPU fan is rotating properly. Most AMD CPU motherboards have sensors which shut down the computers if the CPU fan is not rotating.

    Do you also hear any beeps ?

    Try booting into Safe Mode. After you see the first screen (or two)...tap, tap, tap (keep tapping) the F8 key.

    Following from rsinfo's advice you could try reseating the graphics card, it may have become loose in transit. And please answer his question

    When you start the computer do you hear any beeps?

    A description of what you hear (eg 3 long 2 short beeps) could indicate where the problem is.
