While printing within Netscape some of the down loaded pages miss portions of right margin. Is there any way to print to fit the page? I use Netscape version 4.77. Thanks.

    Hi kjabal,

Here is a Communicator Newsgroup post that will explain what's happening with your printing problem. This was in answer to a user having the same problem as you:

If the page contains some elements measured in pixels (tables, images), NS recalculates them into inches using the DISPLAY dpi (dot-per-inch) ratio. This may exceed the printing area, which is 210mm (A4 sheet) minus 2 margins (0.5" each).
If there is only a small portion of the page that comes beyond the printing area, you may simply decrease the margins in File | Page Setup. (This setting is not kept by NS, however.) If greater adjustment is needed, then INcrease the dpi ratio in Control Panel | Display | Settings | Advanced.

Example: the page is optimized for 800x600 screen and, as such, is enclosed in 800 pxs wide table. The default dpi ratio in Windows is 96 dpi (AKA 100%, or "Small fonts "). Then the printout is 8 1/3" wide and hardly fits the standard A4 sheet with zero margins (approx. 8.4 "). Changing the display resolution to 120 dpi (125%, or "large fonts ") reduces the printout to 6 2/3 ", so that it fits into the standard NS printing area.

There are rounding errors in NS and some printing drivers that distort the exact calculation, yet the principle is the same.
