    The Ask toolbar. I went into the add/remove programs and uninstalled it.

    like the others in that forum I thought I HAD to click accept so I did. FF didn't catch it right away so it never loaded or changed my home page. I went into add/remove and found 2 entries - 1 for the reader and 1 for the toolbar. I removed the toolbar. Hopefully it's not like NCH and reappears unexpectedly!
