I do not know if this is the correct place to post this or not but here goes. What mail program can I use with Windows 7. I have always used outlook express snd do not like outlook. What are some good alternatives. Also do not like to use internet mail programs like gmail and yahoo exclusively either. Thank you for the help and advice.

Windows Live Mail is the successor to Outlook Express and Windows Mail.

Outlook can be setup to closely resemble Outlook Express - Thunderbird is an alternative.

    Hi Desktop,
The answer to this question has been posted numerous times on this site, everyone has a differing opinion!
I have microsoft Outlook, included with office2007 which works fine, you can use a program called incredimail which operates similarly, it is also free-ware, windows live (hotmail in disguise) works well
Search the site & you will find the many answers!

    regards Jac

I use the same program on Windows 7 that I use on WindowsXP: Mulberry. It's a very conservative program, especially when it comes to handling graphics, but it's far and away the best program I know for IMAP. I've tried any number of other programs, but none of them have the range of features for IMAP that Mulberry does.
