yes it can detect my belkin N router.. but when i click connect, it will try to connect awhile then it will pop up "unable to connect to this network.. i have the other 3 computer at home which can connect without a problem.. do u think its because its a N network? but my laptop wireless card supports b/g/n...

If you can connect to internet, its not a "N" or "G" problem. There is some issue with your laptop configuration.

The heavy frame structure building also disturb the signals. Try to go out.

    Hi Syncrox,
Have you checked that the SSID & Password are entered correctly?
Have you tried using the wi-fi protected setup method?, log in on 192.168.2.1 to verify the router pin from a different computer if you don't have it written down already?
Are you getting a limited or no connectivity message?

    regards Jac

i have set a password to be used in the router as i am using WPA.. i dont have any problem in using the password to connect to the router on my other computers, except this newly bought laptop.. just simply dont understand..

probably could it be i need to buy another wireless usb adapter?

    Ok.

Are the other computers on the network connected through wire or are wireless ?

Can you connect to the router through a LAN cable from your laptop ?

You may have an older b wireless card
It can see g but not connect
make sure the router is broadcasting in b
some of the new N routers seem to be g and N only
also change the channel in the router to eliminate interference as a variable
