combofix uninstall

    Recently broni at this forum had me install combofix on my computer to fix my infected computer. I have read that this can hurt my computer and want to uninstall it. I have used all the online instructions using the RUN command line and they do not work. Does anyone know how? Thanks.

    Combofix won't hurt your computer, because it's not active.
    If uninstall command doesn't work, remove it manually...

    Delete Combofix, Qoobox folders,and Combofix.txt file from C:
    Delete Combofix from your desktop

    I did a search of my C: drive and did not see it. Please print the entire path on my C: drive so I can locate it. Thanks.

    Yes it is. Just so you know, that screen I was getting at boot uo was not the combofix screen. It was another thing I fixed. Thanks anyway!
