Resolved ActiveX Contols

I must have changed something I am unaware of but suddenly every time the window changes in IE8 I get the following message:

Internet Explorer: Do you want to allow software such as ActiveX controls and plug-ins to run? Yes No

If this has been covered, my applogies. Its just that it takes forever for me to respond to this question every time the window changes while I search the forum.

Some of my settings were incorrect. When I followed your suggestions the constant inquire about ActiveX stopped. Thank you very much. I don't think I will ever be enough of a Windows expert to return the help but I do "pay it forward" however possible whenever possible. Once again, thanks.
