Had 2 in 3 days. Any ideas how I can stop them?

Once I load the computer back up it sends an error report to MS, but it will probably will happen again.

    Liam :)

Sending an error report to MS may not solve your problem, nor even draw any attention. M/S's resources for correcting errors are spent on errors and problems that require a patch to correct, and the problems are inherent to their product that affect many users. Occasionally, one may get a response that addresses the problem and procedure to correct.

The problem you are experiencing may be related to your system configuration, the interaction of the system to your software, your settings, etc.

...By loading "back up" are you referring to a failure to launch the system restore feature? ... It failed twice in 3 days (same data? different data? Same procedure? Same date?). What was the error message?

Soz bout the lack of info in my last post.

I didnt restore the system after the first one happened or anything, I was just chatting on MSN first time when it happened and i was watching an online movie clip the second time so its not like its something similar.

Whats happening is that when the system failure occurs, a blue screen comes up, similar to what used to happen in Win98SE. It says error occured at '0x00000000050 etc etc'. Im sure the first part of the text is 0x00000000050 before it automatically restarts my system. I have looked into my settings and have now disabled auto-restart after system failure so if it occurs again I'll write down that long 0x00000000050 etc etc.

Also after the Error Report is sent to Microsoft it uploads a certain file. Im not sure what type, but I think it is a .cab file.
