Resolved How do I stop the option to Send A Report?

    When a program messes up there is an option to send a report or not. I want to disable this option - how?

    I would leave it on and use it. I've gotten two replies back - one fixed the problem I was having..

    But, Control Panel->System Icon->Advanced tab->ERROR Reporting button.

    Hi Chas. In addition to what Steve suggested, you should also disable the error reporting service which will free up the computers resources.

    To do this follow these steps:

    1. Click Start< Run and type services.msc and hit enter.
    2. When the services window opens scroll down and highlight the Error Reporting Service.
    3. Right click the service and click properties.
    4. Under the General tab click the stop button if the service hasn't been stopped already.
    5. Once the service stops, under where it says startup type, set it to disabled.
    6. When done click apply and ok.
