Resolved windows live contacts importing

had to rebuild a machine where the client is using windows live. was able to import the windows live messages with no problem on the rebuilt machine but unable to figure out how to import the live contacts. i copied the contacts to the new folder for windows live but can get them to import. there is no import in the contact fucntion for windows live. have searched the web but cant find anything helpful.

so what do i need to do to get the live contacts back in the new contact list???

 

I had no problem doing mine. Opened up the contacts window and went to File and imported them from there.

 

when i open the contacts list and do import the options i get are .wab, .vcf, office outlook, current windows user and .csv. no option for windows live address book.
