I'm going back to have to reinstall a number of drivers from scratch on this computer, and am using the very first driver disc (the resource CD) that came with the machine, to reinstall them.

I am receiving this error message:
When I run add/remove programs, the resource cd is not listed. Tracking down other people who've run into similar problems on the net led me to download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. It did not list the ResourceCD there, either.

I haven't come across any tools or other fixes for this problem. Is there a removal tool (similar to what Norton provides for their anti-virus on occasion) to remove the resource CD's remnants, that I've just missed?

I will have to download them directly from the site, it seems.

    Thank you.
