Resolved Problem downloading Yahoo Messenger

    A friend is having problems trying to download Yahoo Messenger. When it gets about half way through, a message pops up stating "download unsuccessful ". This happens on both his home laptop and company laptop. Any suggestion as to what's wrong?

    The server could have issues?
    Have you tried it on your machine?
    Have you looked for other places to download from?

    I successfully downloaded it a few months ago. Someone else had mentioned downloading it to a USB stick and then putting on the computer. I downloaded it and will see what happens when my neighbor gets home from work later this evening.
