Resolved PCTools Spyware Doctor.

    Since installing Spyware Doctor in my computer running Windows 7 (64), computer has slowed down remarkably, is this normal?

    Probably, but why bother with it? Windows 7 firewall and MSSE are all you need to be protected.

    Certainly I will not renew subscription next year.
    PCTools support is nearly none existent, only confirmation Email
    with sometimes a help line or two.
    Windows Security Essentials does notify me of errors and
    clears them, in comparison to PCTools Spyware Doctor that
    to date has not found one error.
    I certainly would not recommend SD to anyone.

    Unwise to have both installed and running at the same time. Perhaps you refrained from removing pctools because you paid for it? If so, cut your losses, dump it and just use MSE, and have a faster comp.

    Yes indeed very good advice, thank you. I have deleted Spyware Doctor, caused several errors as unable to receive/send Emails using Windows Live Mail, now OK since removal of SD.
