Program to create exe multimedia files

I have been using anigen from ulead gif animator 5 to create my own slideshow that runs an animated gif with music. It is shareware and expires soon.

I was wondering if anyone knows of something better that is freeware or shareware?

Wow! You still not got waht you want after all the above? Perhaps you should post a bit more about why the applications are not quite hitting the mark to give us more of an idea.

In the meanwhile, you could think bigger and go for Star Office 5.2, which is the last version of Star Office that was... freeware.

If you go into "File ... make new ... Presentation ", you will be able to make slideshows very similar to Microsoft Powerpoint. In face, star Office can read traditional Power Point files.

...the Insert Graphics component upports booth animation and transparency with gifs.

 

All I want is a small program (or big) that is compatable with animated gif files and midi and mp3 music that will put them all togeter as a multimedia presentation in an exe file. The ulead program stated above does it but it expires soon. I don't really want to use ulead anyway.

You may know already that what you describe is almost exactly a Powerpoint presentation from Office XP.

 

Came across these while looking for something else. I haven't tried them, but it says you can make executable wav, mp3, etc. files, as well as docs, and more. It may not have all the things you want, but it is FREE:

I found exactly what I was looking for and more for only 25 bucks! The program is called Pictures to Exe. It has a free trial period. If anyone finds anything better please let me know.
