Hello All, I'm troubleshooting a Akoya E1210 net-book and suspect that the hard drive is gone :( Normally there's 4 screws on the back that when removed allow the cradle/cage and hard drive to slide out...not on this little baby it's proving to be a stubborn one, anyone ever replace a hard drive on the type of net-book??? any help/pointers are very welcome.

    Thanks

    Whacker.

Harking back to a Dell laptop in which I replaced a hard drive it was necessary to remove the keyboard and separate the case along the joint line to get close to the hard drive. The drive was in the lower left hand corner of the laptop when looking at the screen.

I feel a major dismantling job coming on :)
