    Hi,

I have installed on my pc "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" and "SUPERAntiSpyware ".

I'd like to know if that is sufficient for enough virus protection. I discovered and deleted one/more viruses some time ago and since then I kept installing new antiviruses (I was afraid). Among others I had Kaspersky, NOD32, now - avast! but I'm told to register and after 30 days (generally) I have no longer access to the 'free' antivirus program.

Is the best idea to keep downloading new antiviruses or can I relax and use only those 2 from above?

    Thanks,
    Stefan

Malwarebytes I don't think runs all the time for real time protection.

    SUPERAntiSpyware doesn't protect against virsues..

I use those two and Avira AntiVirus.

The paid for version of Malwarebytes give full time protection - as Steve posts the free version does not - screenshot.

My preference for a free av is either Avast or MS Security Essentials one of which is installed on my laptop, netbook, XP Mode in 7 and on my XP box,

For my main desktop running 7 x64 I Use Sunbelt Vipre Premium - AV + AntiMalware + Firewall, but that is not freeware.

    Hi, PeteC

So what are the steps if I want to keep avast?
Is registration sufficient (I have 9 days left) or must be made in a certain way?
Are there some interesting program features that you can share with me, before I start reading ( :( ) about the av?

    Register Avast here .....

I have everything set at default - all options checked except P2P shield (I don't P2P) and Silent Gaming Mode OFF - I don't game :)
