Hi Starline. It looks like you are still running Internet Explorer 6. I would recommend that you upgrade to Internet Explorer 8.

After you install IE8 see if your issue is still present on the system or not.

Internet Explorer is integrated into Windows and cannot be fully removed from the system. Plus Windows Update requires IE in order to run. I would recommend that you keep IE installed.

But if you don't want to update to IE8 then you can uninstall Internet Explorer 6 by following these steps.

    1. Click Start< Control Panel< Add/Remove Programs.
    2. When the Add/Remove Programs window opens click on Add/Remove Windows Components.
    3. When the Add/Remove Windows Components opens scroll down and uncheck the checkbox next to Internet Explorer.
    4. When your done click Next to allow the process to finish.
    5. When its done click the Finish button to close the window.
    6. Reboot the computer for the changes to take effect.
    7. Once thats done set Firefox as your default browser if you haven't done that already and hopefully you won't be seeing any more IE errors.

With IE closed, open Task Manager and see, if you have any iexplore.exe processes running.
I'm asking, because you may be infected.
