Hello Everyone, I bought a LG Super Multi DVD Rewriter - GH22NS30 22X DVD RW SATA, it reads and writes Dvd's & Cd's with no problem just when I try to eject them after it's done it doesn't eject, so I have to manual eject it with a pin after the driver green light stays on & windows freezes, I have to restart the computer and windows works great again.

Any help with this problem would be great.

I would unplug it, and then re-set up again and see if windows will re-install, Found new Hardware and see what happens then, could be a faulty drive.

Instead of hitting the button on the drive to open the tray, did you try right clicking on the drive icon and pick eject?

I took it out last night & put my Phillips CD Rom back in to see if it does the same but my Phillips CD Rom works greats, So I know it's not the Sata cables or nothing like that. When I first installed the DVD Burner yesterday windows Found new Hardware & it was installed I even installed the driver firmware from Lg's website.

I am going to try to install it again & see if it does that again.
I contacted LG by email yesterday just waiting for them to reply!

Just an update, I reinstalled the drive & made sure my anti virus was turned off, Started windows and it found new hardware right away checked the firmware it has the latest one, tryed the drive without a CD in there to see if it will open and it did open... I put a music CD in and played it for a few times tryed ejecting it still no go, CD won't eject with the disk in it, maybe it is a faulty drive. Im going to wait for lg to reply to my email if not then i will call them Monday after work!
