I have a Dell Studio Laptop with Windows 7, wireless network, DSL, 4 GB Ram, 64 bit OS. I am looking for a simple way to print screen for those times when it will not copy for me to paste. Does anyone have any advice?
    Thanks,
    Dee

Use the Snipping Tool built into Windows 7 - make your snip, save it and print.

Hi, You can use the old method, press "Print screen" then open "Paint ", then "Edit ", then "Paste ", then "Save as" to where you can find it . then I use "Office Picture Manager " to crop of the the edges, and there you go, then "Save ".
    Cheers Des.

Thanks Evan for your advice but I cannot understand how to download the program. I'm blaming it on the late hour on the East Coast rather than my lack of intellegence. Please explain how I download.
    thanks

I can always count on you guys to give me plenty of good advice promptly and I am grateful. Pete. the snipping tool sounds like what I'm looking for but I have looked everywhere and I can't find it. You know I'm a little slow in the tech field and I'm probaly going to need a picture.
    Thanks to all,
    Dee

Orb > All Programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool

    or

Type Snip in the Search box - comes up as the first on the Programs list.

    For convenience ....

Orb > All Programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool - right click > Pin to Start Menu then it is readily accessible.

Pete, accessories was the first place I looked and I missed it. Makes one wonder why I'm allowed to have a computer.
I have the snipping thing working but I can't print .Hopefully I can quit being a pest soon.
    Thanks,
    Dee

The Snipping Tool allows you to Save the snip - you will need to use another app to print - double click the saved jpg - Windows Photo Viewer should open - print from there.
