I mainly like to use Crazy Browser and Google Chrome. I was just wondering which is better? What kinds of tests can I run on them and how do I go about doing it?
I'm not sure if anyone here has heard of Crazy Browser but I have been using it since it first came out. I wondering what you think of it (compared to Chrome)

    You can download it here:

I have had computers for probably 25 or more years and have never had a real security threat. (knock on wood) I use nothing but IE on all of them.

    Try this.

Crazy Browser needs IE to be installed; i.e. it uses the IE rendering engine, so I'd ask "what's the point "...

My favourite is Mozilla (1.5.1). It has the best CSS rendering of all browsers, a Javascript debugger, a DOM inspector, a good, if basic, WYSIWYG editor. The password manager is excellent. The form manager is good.

I use IE, Firefox, Google Chrome, and Opera on a regular basis. I routinely rotate them using each for a couple of days at a time. All are good. I find that IE crashes more often than I like. Firefox crashes occasionally. Don't think I can remember Chrome or Opera crashing. As with ReggieB, my personal favorite is Opera. (Just noticed that ReggieB didn't call Opera his favorite - just made a positive comment regarding CSS rendering.) I tend to put it in my rotation more often than the others. Personally, I would be reluctant to download any program with ....crazy... in the name.

So I would assume Opera is your default browser?
Why use so many browsers? How do you determine which to use?

Maxdakota, I assume you are using Mozilla Firefox? I prefer Firefox in my comps, but I have version 3.6.6 in use. version 1.5.1 is OLD!
I have IE 8 as all comps run Win XP SP but find it doesn't open as quickly as Firefox. I've also tried Opera and Safari a few bugs in Opera but generally quite smooth. :D

VaCcArO - Opera is my default browser right now but I change that from time to time as well. I just enjoy using different browsers. There is always so much discussion about which is better and for what reason, I like to at least be aware of how they operate. I haven't ventured into Safari but I might give it a try.

I like Firefox the best. Not sure why, but I didn't like Chrome or Opera. I would love ie but the U.S. Government recommends it not be used. :)

That, and all the other warnings over time kind of did something to my attitude. Plus years a go I got spooked when I learned about ie's index.dat.

I use ff mostly if not almost all the time now. When I heard that firefox was faster then ie, I did some tests and found ie to be faster in every test I did.

    Chris.

hi all, I hv used Opera, IE 6, 7, & 8. Mozilla 3.6.6, Safari, Google crome.
1)I did find Crome & Mozilla are user friendly but Crome has sevral crashing problem, Aw!Snap, Shock-wave Crashed etc, i couldn't used more than 2 days and have reinstall it aagain & again ultimately i switched over to Mozilla permanently.
    2) IE7 & 8 have iertutil.dll, one of the worst problem i faced.
    3) In safari (i forgot) there is missing command, you can not copy/past.
    4) opera is beautiful.

I mainly use Opera, it seems to load faster for me. I also (like right now) use Firefox, but only because some (evil) web pages won't accommodate Opera. I almost never use IE, and have yet to try Chrome. The biggest selling point Opera has for me is the mouse gestures, they make browsing sooooo much easier.

Opera was always one of the 2 I used, till I got tired of finding so many page glitches. I still like it though. But my favorite is Firefox. I'm running 4.0b2pre and it is very fast.

Used Opera for 10 years as my default browser. When you have the best, no need for the rest :D.
