Strange Program ??

The last couple days my computer has been hanging up .All my icons disappear and I have to cnt/alt del to re-boot computer. I have noticed a program in my startup that I haven't noticed before. The program is winkwf.exe. I have deleteted from my startup but it keeps coming back. Could this be a virus ???

Yes Brett you are right. I couldn't get may Norton virus scan to work because I found out that this worm is able to shut down the Virus programs. I did go to pcpitstop.com and they had a scan that was able to detect it. I also found that McAfee has a single free program that is supposed to clear this worm. The name of this program is ...stingersetup.exe

Thanks guys for your infor... The program I got from McAffee found 31 infected files. After that I was able to get my Norton anti virus working. Can't see where this worm did any damage but it was sure a pain with the computer going down
