Adobe 10.1 will not [install]

I subscribe to MLB video online. I have just talked to their tech support people about not getting any sound. I was told to delete temporary files. Did it. Got sound.

When the program went to commercial (is there no commercial-free zone anywhere?!?), and the sound was deafening. Yanked my little external speaker. Plugged it back in when the game resumed. No sound. Tried deleting temporary files again (overkill, but couldn't figure out what else to do). No sound, but a window telling me to download Adobe 10.1. Did it. Got the message "installation failed. "

My browser is Internet Explorer.

 

Thanks for the clarification, Pete. I am frequently guilty of using the wrong terminology. Tech stuff is definitely not my strong suit!

OK -- I'll do the uninstall and then the download, right?
