Resolved Can't read messages in OE

I’m running OE 6.00 2800.2000 on a windows 2000 machine. I was working with WBBS to clen the machine, and did, but this morning when I kicked of OE, when it came up something strange happened.

The mail came in, but I couldn’t read any of the messages!

It really strange. If I click on a newly arrived message, I get the hourglass as long as the mouse cursor stays over the message area of the screen. When I move it over the list of subjects or the list of folders, it changes to the normal cursor.

Makes it kinda tuff to use email.

 

I have some info you might want to be aware of. When I was working on a problem with my machine, something I did killed my outlook express's ability to read message bodies. Well, evidently it was when the machine froze trying to run eset, because the message bodies are gone again.

Luckily, the run command regsvr32 inetcomm.dll brings them back.
