IE8 Windows 7 64 BIT

    A friend of mine is currently running Google Chrome web browser. He wants to download IE8 Windows 7 64 BIT. He says he gets a message that it's incompatible. I think he may be trying to download the wrong version. Could someone post a link to IE8 Windows 7 64BIT. I don't see this version listed.

    IE 8 is DEFAULT with Windows 7. No need to download it.

    How can he switch back from Google Chrome to IE8 without getting rid of Google Chrome?

    There is little point in running IE8 64 bit as there is a paucity of 64 bit ActiveX controls available, including Adobe Flash. The 32 bit version is preferred.
    Tell him to try .....

    Control Panel > Default Programs > Set Default Programs.
