    Greetings!

I recently bought a new computer with Windows 7 and went to Microsoft's support site to search the forums to answer a few questions.

After my search, topics are listed, but when I click the title to view the answers I get the response "You are not authorized to perform this action." I have a valid, registered copy of Windows 7 and I registered on the Microsoft support site using my real name and email address.

Does anyone know why Microsoft would restrict access to user support forums and how I can gain privilege to view the answers?

    Thanks again!

    Brian

BTW, the question I was looking for was "Is there a TweakUI for Windows 7? "

    Same problem here.

But I can click on any other topic except "Is there a TweakUI for Windows 7" thread & it would open normally.

    Strange.

Hmm...all links open just fine for me. It shouldn't have anything to do with your Windows version. Those are public documents.
    Did you try different browser?

You could try THIS site. A specific Windows support forum.

Good idea. I just tried Internet Explorer (I usually use Firefox), but got the same results.
