I am using OE6 and I need to find some exported messages. When I selected the folders of messages I wanted to export, I can not find the files that they were sent to so I can move them to a different computer.

I guess they would have been exported to a folder of your choice - no idea what the default location is.

Best bet is to search for *.dbx files - include hidden files and folders, but be aware that the search will throw up the OE drfault message store location too.

I tried to export one file with a unique name. Then I ran agent ransack to fine it but I only found the original. I am using OE6. There is nothing in help and no dialog window to specify where or what to name the export.

You may want to describe what it is you are trying to do.

OE export only lets you export messages to Microsoft Outlook or Exchange.
