Is it possible to configure 2 network cards in a Win2k machine to both go to the same network? Reason: SQL server taking too much traffic and is overloading its bandwidth. Would it be possible to assign one card for input and the other for output? Or maybe there would be some other way to break down the network traffic until we can upgrade the network. Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

    As far as I know

You can, the only problem I could see is that you might get a duplicate name message popup.

Thats a great question. I obviously can be done with 2000 server, but with pro I am not sure exactly how you would configure it....

I am on a pro machine with dual network cards. I might play with this....

jscroggs - did Tekguy's answer help you?

If not, there are some other options.

Another question though - are you running the server thru a hub or a switch?

    Got it

Thanks for the help y'all! I was able to get Network Load Balancing installed and am currently working on which settings to use, but I've basically got it figured out. Thanks for the help!
