If you know which files and where they are-> Copy n Paste.

You probably even have a right click option to Send to Floppy option.

    Transfer Driver file to Floppy

i did it, but the 3rd button(center) does not show up under mouse properties in XP, but does in 98se
it worked on previous XP machine which malfunctioned May 15th..i got this pre owned XP on May 20th

Do you know of a decent 3 button mouse, where center button can be made to zoom(magnify), or scroll or other??

What happens when you go to the web site of the mouse maker and download drivers from them?

    TRansfer Driver to Floppy Disk

    Steve
    Can not do that.
Memorex hasn't made/supplied this mouse in approx 2 years.(it was made for 95/98/2000/NT/ME)
it is model 3202-2362 Memorex is someone else has one.
Beginning to believe, just cause it worked on other XP Puter does not mean it will work here.

    Hi MIR11,

See if this is what your looking for:

    http://www.input-drivers.com/drivers/63/63820.htm

click on the link memxoptical.zip to the right of section called "file" or
    directly "
    http://www.input-drivers.com/dgdl.php?driverid=63820

type in the scroll down and type in capcha and the download will occur.

This download allows you to assign various functions to the scroll button including a Zoom function with options for such.

    -------------------
If the above doesn't suit your needs there are others here, including your 3202 model:

Transfer Driver File to Floppy Disk

    Dear Godezz (and others)
went there, don't see where to type capcha. Besides that it says Windows Download, not Memorex, so i went to last one you mentioned and it wants to scan all my drivers. I need/want one (1) driver only.
See my previous post, which refers to older Threads.
i have even tried copying to a floppy from my 98 Laptop, then loading into XP, thst does not work right either
Unless someone else has a 3202-2362 driver on a floppy or CD and will mail it to me to try.{i would pay $$$ to borrow} This Thread is at a dead end..

    Hi Mir11,

The captcha type in is on he bottom of the page. You have to scroll down to it. Type in the two words shown and hit the continue button. Don't click on the link at the top of the page. It does lead to a driver scan program.

    Here's the link again:

you said "type in the scroll down and type in capcha and the download will occur "

i scrolled down, typed in their words. it was a Windows download. Did you try it ?????

you have no idea how much time my wife and i spent on this before i contacted BBS....AND STEVES TIME... a local guru suggested transferrring driver to a Thumb Drive(Kingston Data Travler)AThat dis not work, i tried 2 (two) Memorex floppys plus the floppy i made many times . some of them loaded but Mouse Properties do NOT show "Third Butto" they show a wheel instead. A wheel will not magnify.(don't suggest Windows Magnifier)

    Hi mir11,

Yes I have followed all links and have done just as I instructed you to do. I did download and received, without a problem, a zip named, "memorexoptical.zip ". I have done this using both firefox and IE8, although I did have to click on security warning flag to tell it to allow the download < in IE8.

Even though I do not have a memorex mouse, I still installed this (out of curiosity) and it did indeed work. It allows me to program the middle scroll button and assign or change function/option at will.

    >I have a shortcut in startmenu>programs list named "browser mouse ".
    >This loads an icon in the systray.
    >The icon has a right click "settings" option.
    >The scroll "button" assignment Tab has a drop down option of "universal zoom ".
    >This will be a magnifing glass, adjustible to any size and magnification desired. Try it. I believe this is what your looking for.

Repeat: "try it you may like it ".

What have you got to lose, 5 minutes of your time. You've already used more than that trying to figure out which files and drivers you need for the older program. You may be waiting even longer than that for someone, here, who may be using a Memorex mouse and software that may be as old as "95.

In answer to your question, I am using windows 7. The app is advertised 95,98,ME,winnt,win2000 compatible and now windows 7, and as I previously stated, I am not even using a memorex mouse and the software still worked as it was designed to.

"Nothing ventured, nothing gained ". It can be uninstalled as easily as it is installed.

on which of the three links did you find "memorexoptical.zip ".??
if it is a zip file then whast?? i do not have any experience with Zip files.

As to part of your last post, you DO NOT need a Memorex Mouse, i have a microinv mouse on laptop. the original software came with Memorex mouse.
I also know it is marked 95/98/me/nt etc.
