dot-email file type

    I am running Win2KPro and have been getting files from KNOWN friends that send attatchments with .email as the file type. I tried to open it with Word 2k and can extract the text but nothing more. Any adives? Thanks, y'all.

    Hi prosound.
    My guess is that they are forwarding it. Try changing the extension to .eml

    Thanks Daizy. I had never used the .eml extension but it worked the first time. Good advice!
