A friend's Win2K PC is running Outlook 2000 and it appears to be stalled by the 2GB-pst-limit bug.

I've backed up his pst files to a USB drive and intend to give him Outlook 2003.

My question - how to reinstate the backup pst to the new installation so that everything is running as before?

    Thanks :)

Sorry, Pete, didn't know we had a dedicated Outlook section.
    Cheers :)

Tried the links - none has a really definitive answer. Seems like the crux of the matter is converting the 2000 style pst to the one used in the 2003 prog, as they aren't compatible. Well done, Microsoft.

Food for thought-> Move half of the mail to a newly created pst file to avoid possible total loss of all mail;)

I wouldn't even consider Outlook 2003, since support has (long) ended for that product.
