    :( :( :( :(

the set up screen flashed by too quickly so i visited www.pcsupport.about.com for recommendations on how to access the bios set-up

eventually i was able to access it + after selecting the 1st + 2nd boot device then f10, i wsn't able to do anything at the next black screen..(the example says hit 'delete' but that didn't work + that screen went too fast to be able to sit down + read what option to choose)

it then skipped what i assume are key steps and went right to the reatogo-x-pe page

i tried the steps again but it is the same thing + now my computer seems like i lost everything-it looks completely different

    :( :( :( :(

i don't even know if this log is correct

    Very good :)

Now, let's go back to my reply#4.
Delete Combofix file, you previously downloaded, download new one and perform steps from my reply #4: rKill, exehelper and Combofix (in that sequence).

    I think, you misunderstood something.
You don't boot to OTLPE CD anymore.
Start the computer, we've been working on, normally, as you do every day.
We're done with OTLPE CD for now.

You have to disable McAfee before running Combofix.

    For now...

Download GMER: http://www.gmer.net/files.php, by clicking on Download EXE button.
    Alternative downloads:
    - http://www.softpedia.com/get/Interne...ers/GMER.shtml
Double click on downloaded .exe file, select Rootkit tab and click the Scan button.
Do NOT use the computer while GMER is running!
When scan is completed, click Save button, and save the results as gmer.log
Warning ! Please, do not select the "Show all" checkbox during the scan.
    Post the log.

IMPORTANT! If for some reason GMER refuses to run, try again.
If it still fails, try to UN-check "Devices" in right pane.
If still no joy, try to run it from Safe Mode.
