cant send emails from craigslist

    just installed win7-premium on my dell vostro 1700- when i try to respond to emails using craigs list it states no email program has bee associated to peform the requested action please insatll an email program or if one is already installed,create an association in the default programs control panel

    Ive looked in the contriol panel,cant find anything to help me

    Have you installed an email program? Windows 7 does not include an email programme unlike earlier versions of Windows.

    Windows Live Mail is the current equivalent of Outlook Express and is a free download from MS. Other options are Outlook, Thunderbird .....

    Hi, Just did mates new PC with W7, when first connect up and switched on it connected to the net etc automaticly , but I still had to fill in all his details to Windows Live Mail ( after downloading it) , much the same as OE,
    All good now .
