Display [shows greenish tinge]

    Please provide Much More details...When did this start?
    What is the history behind the problem?
    Did you make ANY type of change to the pc?

    A loose cable could be the cause....

    I agree it sounds like a loose cable connection, or perhaps the graphics card, if your computer has one, was never secured properly. If all is tight, try another monitor on your computer and your monitor on another computer and see what happens.

    Beyond that, as mentioned, we need to know more information.

    If it happens to be a CRT I would say it is a Good By for this Monitor. That was the symptom that I had after a Lightning Strike, Power Surge.
