have a clean install of a client computer. installed XP and all SP. installed their copy of Office XP with SP's, (trying to get them to upgrade their office)
downloaded and installed the office 2007 converter.

everytime user opens an office 2007 file, the converter starts and opens the file. but it opens it and creates a TMP file with a 000001.tmp name. it should be opening the document with the original name so all you have to do is hit save.

I am sure there is a regedit tweak somewhere to fix this, they have an older computer in the office that works just fine. not sure why this one is doing this.

    thanks in advance for answers
