Hopefully, I can get my question answered so here it goes...In your Windows history folder and on the address bar, is it possible for pop up ads or unwanted popup adult websites go into your history folder and/or address window even if you did not go to any of the sites even if you just closed the popup? I have several users on my pc and when i start to type in a www.--- site it will list all the sites that begin with the letter, "a" for example which some are sites that I know I hadn't visited. Or do these address lists/history folder with the links mean someone actually visited the sites? I know some websites have backdoor "adultlinks" that will popup but I didn't think it would go into a history folder and be listed in your address line. Help...a beginner.

    Hi sailmooner
Welcome to the boards. If the addresses are appearing in your address bar, they were typed there. To clear them, see here.
