Resolved Downloading Sevice pack 3 problem

Hi, I want to download Windows XP service pack 3 to my desktop,so I can get the latest Mapsource Update ( will only install on SP3, I am happy with SP2.
I have just done it to the laptop, no problems.
But when I go to "Updates" on here it wants me to down load the genuine Windows validity file first, I dont want to do that as I am using Office 2003 it will keep popping up and trying to sell me the latest version of Office, my mate 's PC keeps doing that all the time and it is very annoying.
I have tried all the way's I can think of and they all end up with the same download and I can't bypass it .
Any ideas Please
