    Comment it out with a semi-colon in oeminfo.ini...

    My c:\windows\system32\oeminfo.ini reads
    and the support button brings up that exact message (well, not the XXXX but the information that should be there).

    So if your aim is to have folks call the correct place for service, maybe leaving the button and replacing the information with yours is the way to go.

    Given that a = b:

    a2 = ab
    a2 + a2 = a2 + ab
    2a2 = a2 + ab
    2a2 - 2ab = a2 + ab - 2ab
    2a2 - 2ab = a2 - ab

    Which can be expressed as:

    2(a2 - ab) = 1(a2 - ab)

    Dividing (both sides) of the above by a2 - ab results in:

    2 = 1

    Now, whilst it's clearly possible for 2 + 2 to equal 2, 3 or 4, it can never equal 5, irrespective of the size of the value of 2. 2 + 2 + 2 can, however, equal 3, 4, 5 or 6 ...

    ... unless Zephyr knows differently :D

    Bret, You must be careful not to violate "My Dear Aunt Sally ", lest you inherit the wind. Besides, multiplying by zero is the exclusive domain of the government.

    I would respond with the correct solution but the daunting task of typing superscript is not all that appealing. The function N²X² gets my keyboard all confused about its real function. :D

    Thanks for the laugh!

    Inherit the wind? Hereditary flatulence?

    My grandfather used to play the mnemonic but, alas, had to quit when his moustache became too long.
