    Hi,

I am seeing this error VERY often, sometimes just a few minutes apart. See below. I checked the Event Viewer because my PC started acting flaky today; didn't realize there were this many errors from DCOM! Oh and please please don't provide the usual Malware Scan response, I am very good about that so I know that that's not the issue :)

Thanks ahead of time I look forward to your response!

DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. " attempting to start the service StiSvc with arguments " " in order to run the server:

Have you installed any scanning devices or cameras or drivers lately or changed any scanner settings that may be outside the range of its driver??

Peruse some of these Google Hits for something that may help you.

Yes, turns out I should have Googled it first :( WIA being disabled was causing it.
